	Chris Bonney is the founder of the Center for Email Excellence, an organization dedicated to the betterment of business communication through email. The Center provides online resources for companies and individuals who want to learn about email trends, develop email management techniques, or mine valuable resources that address improving email communication in the workplace. He is a regular writer and speaker within the technology industry, having recently presented at the Association Technology Conference in D.C. He has been published in various national magazines and has had his writing featured in The Writer magazine and the freelance writer's book Ready, Aim, Specialize (James-Enger, Marion Street Press, Second Edition, 2008).
Chris has over 15 years of experience in technology leadership, holding senior positions at IBM, AT&T, MetLife, and SmithBucklin Corporation. He is currently partner and VP of client services at Vanguard Technology in Chicago, an Internet development firm specializing in web-based technologies and communication consulting. Throughout his years of experience in technology he has helped scores of clients understand and improve their online communication whether through email, website copy, or blog postings. He is the co-founder of Web Chicago, an association for web designer and developers in Chicago and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Chicagoland Association Forum.
Chris has been a writer for almost 20 years with a degree in English from Northern Illinois University and additional studies at the University of Chicago. He has studied business communication, and email specifically, for many years. The insights and principles Chris shares are a culmination of his research, personal experience, client feedback, training, surveys, and proven successes.
